The Stockwood Scrolls
Mirna Dendrar lived happily in the town of Phandalin with her husband Thel, daughter Nilsa Hallwinter, and son Nars until Thel was murdered by the Redbrands for trying to defend his wife from their advances. She was then kidnapped, along with her eighteen year old daughter and thirteen year old son, with the intent to sell her into slavery. She was rescued only days later by Crag, Dug, Himophilia, and Zerok during their raid of the Redbrand hideout.
Mirna grew up in the village of Thundertree, but left when Mount Hotenow erupted 30 years ago. She informed her rescuers of a valuable heirloom beneath a section of storage shelves in her family’s old home there – a gold necklace with a fine emerald pendant worth 200 gold pieces in their herb and alchemy shop.
Zerok later returned this necklace to her, much to her surprise and thanks, as she meant it to be a reward for her family’s rescue.
