The Stockwood Scrolls
This Tethyrian assassin works for whoever pays the most – which most commonly tends to be the Shadow Thieves, though he maintains no personal alliance with the organization. A gruff and straightforward man, Gaston is known for getting his work done quickly, efficiently, and without drama. He is feared throughout Amn for his accomplishments.
Gaston was contracted by the Shadow Thieves to hunt down Lucky Charmer and offer him an ultimatum – assassinate the Marshall of the Flaming Fist, Ulder Ravengard, or be killed. Although the meeting was initially tense, as neither was sure if it would come to blades, they ended up having a companionable drink together – though Gaston warned him that he might one day have to return to claim the bounty on him should he not complete the contract given – a bounty he claimed the Shadow Thieves had informed him would amount of 50,000 gold pieces – higher than any he’d heard of in recent times. The two then parted amicably.
